Now in its fourth year, the Bioplastics Awards is the only global initiative to recognise achievement in the field of bio-sourced polymers.

Organised by European Plastics News, the Bioplastics Awards are designed to include all involved in the bioplastics supply chain.

Categories recognise innovation in R&D or processing, reward outstanding applications in packaging and non-packaging markets, acknowledge imaginative marketing concepts, and highlight the role of retailers and individuals in the development of the bioplastic marketplace.

The Bioplastics Awards are about bio-sourced polymers - not biodegradability or compostability - and are intended to show how bio-derived plastics can play a useful part in the sustainable future of the polymer industry.
